Lockboxes & Keys
Locked containers found while fishing, opened with a matching key.
Finding one
Lockboxes turn up as their own fishing event (a heavy, rusted box hooked mid-cast) rather than something you buy. Which tier you can find is gated by your player level. Keys drop separately, mainly from treasure chests and other fishing events.
Opening
Once you're holding a lockbox and its matching key, open it with /open <lockbox>. Higher tiers need a higher player level but pay out substantially more.
The Tiers
Sunken Lockbox (Level 1+, opened with a Sunken Key). A solid coin-and-gem reward with a real shot at an enchantment. Magma Lockbox (Level 25+, Magma Key). Bigger coin and gem payouts plus a real shot at an artifact on top of enchantments. Elderwood Lockbox (Level 60+, Elderwood Key). The rarest and richest tier, with high odds of both an enchantment and an artifact alongside the biggest coin and gem rewards.
